DTN Morning Comments on Grains

Grains Mostly Higher Early Tuesday

   Corn futures are higher, soybeans higher, and wheat lower at 6 a.m. CDT.

6:00 a.m. CME Grains Globex:  Corn 6 cents higher, soybeans 2 cents higher, and wheat 2 cents lower.
CME Globex Recap:  Strong commercial buying supported the corn and soybean markets overnight. Corn was the stronger of the two as it continues to rally off its recent low. Wheat contracts were posting moderate losses early Tuesday morning, though traders remain concerned over possible cold weather developments yet this week. Outside markets were higher, with the rally in commodities in general supported by the weaker U.S. dollar index.
