DTN Morning Comments on Grains

Grains Start Week Higher

Corn futures are higher, soybeans higher, and wheat higher at 6 a.m. CDT.

6:00 a.m. CME Globex: Corn 5 cents higher, soybeans 16 cents higher, and wheat 5 cents higher.
CME Globex Recap: Grains were trading near session highs early Monday morning. The overnight rally started in the wheat complex as much of the Southern Plains winter wheat growing area missed out on precipitation. Corn and soybeans ultimately followed, with both seeing renewed commercial buying interest. Outside markets were also bullish despite another rally in the U.S. dollar index.
